CSLO MOOC-The Diary of Anne Frank
General Event Information
This trend setting course is designed to bring teachers together using various 21st Century methodologies from Virtual Environments,
to Twitter, to Moodle Forums, blogs, and any other open and free internet based form of communication. Many online courses
still are structured so that the teacher is the knowledge giver, and the students are the knowledge receivers. This course
brings in everyone as a teacher and contributor to the learning. Using various forms of social communication the teachers
in this program will end up with a product that is peer reviewed and relevant to their curricular and student based needs.
Our first MOOC will involve exploring the powerful and classic book, Diary of a Young Girl- Anne Frank. This will of course
include the historical events, geography, and people during this time period.
